Part-Time Support Position, Communications Team

Reporting to:                         Communications and Advocacy Manager

Full-time/Part-time:             Part-Time, 24 hours per week

Location:                                 Headquarters in Ede, Netherlands  

Duration:                                 2-3 months

Preferable Start:                     ASAP

Overall purpose of the job

Wetlands International is seeking support with organising our press contact and photo databases, as well as support the Web Editor with taking an inventory of the website, www.wetlands.org. You will work 24 hours per week (flexible days) closely with the PR Officer/Web Editor. A rotating desk will be provided.

Objectives

  • Create an organised photo database
  • Create an organised press list database
  • Inventory of the website

Main duties

Press lists: Using Microsoft Excel, you will review, clean and organise the existing press contact lists  

Photo database: Using the current filing system, you will be responsible for reviewing, cleaning, tagging and organising the photo database.

Website: You will be responsible for creating an inventory of the news, blog, publication and case studies on the website.

Essential skills and experience

  • Experience with filing, archiving and organising documents
  • Can work independently
  • Fluent in Microsoft Excel
  • Fluent with Windows and file tagging features
  • Keen eye for detail
