Award for Wetlands International Senegal

Wetlands International is pleased to report that the Wetlands International office in Senegal has been awarded by the Senegalese Ministry of Environment. The award is an important recognition of the office's efforts that have been undertaken not only in Senegal but also in other African countries and regions.

The ceremony was part of celebrations held on the occasion of World Environment Day on 5 June 2004. On behalf of his colleague of the Ministry of Environment, the Minister of Telecommunications present the certificate to Abdoulaye Ndiaye, Wetlands International Senegal's training officer.
