International Symposium for Conservation of the Black-faced Spoonbill

From 1-5 June 2004 the International Symposium for Conservation of the Black-faced Spoonbill was held in Seoul, Republic of Korea. The symposium was organised by the Korean Federation for Environment Movement and was attended by over 50 participants.

Among them were 15 international participants from the BFS range states, as well as participants from the USA and Wetlands International Malaysia. Participants were also given the possibility to take part in an informal strategy planning meeting and to join the field study tour.
