An information packed report on shorebird activities undertaken in the flyway in 2002 to implement the Action Plan for Conservation of Migratory Shorebirds in the East Asian-Australasian Flyway: 2001-2005 is now available on the Environment Australia website www.ea.gov.au/water/wetlands/mwp/news/index.html#plan The report covers five issues: implementing the Shorebird Action Plan, development of the network, appropriate management of network sites, increasing the information base and upcoming activities.
