Project Description:
This project is being carried out in many Asian, African and South American countries in close cooperation with our Africa, Mali, Latin America, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand offices.
The Wetlands and Poverty Reduction Project is a world wide partnership of organisations that promotes the integration of sustainable wetland management into poverty reduction strategies. The aim is to show the importance of wetlands in fighting poverty. We have activities on global and national policy change, building human capacity and developing and testing best practices in the field.
