This website
This is the main website of Wetlands International. It was created on December 15th 2005 and covers the main areas of our work.
As the site is quite new, not all information is put in place yet, and you may find that not everything is working how it should be.
Finding your way around
This website has several subsites of our offices and projects around the world. This is the main sites. See the drop down menu on the right for the sub sites. The main site gives you the globally relevant information.The sub sites cover the information for the differents regions of our work. All these sites have their own databases and own search option.
To find your way within a site; just follow the subjects of the textpages on the left. They will give information in the form of text and links on several subjects. You can also look and search in the databases with publications, photos, news and events. The databases cover almost all our recent publications, events and newsitems. Clicking on these items on the left site will show the most recent ones and will also give you a search option on the bottom. The search function on the top, right searches within the (sub) site were you are. The google search on the bottom, left searches through all www.wetlands.org sites.
Downloading material
Most of our publications are made in Acrobat 7.0. This is a latest version of this programme, enabling to make pdf's much smaller; and for you much easier and faster to download. One requirement; you need This new version of acrobat reader. Do you have problems downloading material? Just download this free programme.
