As Programme Manager – Coasts & Deltas, I link strategy to worldwide operations, structuring and leading programmes powered by the passion and strengths of our team, network and partners.
Wetlands play a key role in bridging land and sea and act as a cradle of biodiversity, providing countless services to plant, animal and human communities who depend on them; it is a true honour to contribute to their preservation and restoration.
Before joining Wetlands International, I was working in consultancy, leading a large portfolio of projects and service contracts for the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to working in consultancy, I gained a wealth of experience in the design, development and implementation of projects and programmes, working primarily in the fields of marine research and coastal engineering across the Western Atlantic, Western Indian Ocean, SE Asia, and the South Pacific.
I am a certified Project Management Professional and hold a PhD in Biology from the University of Mons, an MSc in Tropical Coastal Management from Newcastle University and a BSc in Marine Biology and Zoology from the University of Wales, Bangor.
