International Treaties Adviser
BirdLife International/Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (UK)

Dave Pritchard has 20 years’ experience in various roles at the RSPB,
Europe’s largest non-governmental wildlife conservation organisation,
including having led its major expansions of activity in planning and site
protection law and policy, input to land-use decision making, and wetlands
policy. Now working with international conservation treaties worldwide, as

areas of advocacy and policy development particularly in the Ramsar
Convention on Wetlands, and serves on a number of global and European

protected area systems and environmental impact assessment, and is a
persistent champion of rationally and durably building what we value about
the natural world into systems of policy and law.
