Head of Communications and Advocacy

As Head of Communications & Advocacy, my role is to inspire and mobilise society to safeguard and restore wetlands for people, climate and nature. Wetlands are under threat and bringing them back will transform lives and livelihoods. My team is responsible for building awareness, influencing change and supporting resource mobilization to achieve impact at scale.

Before joining Wetlands International, I worked as Global Media Manager at WWF International based in Singapore, producing news and content for international media. I also spent seven years in global and regional communication roles with ChildFund International, providing strategic and technical leadership to communications and advocacy teams in Africa, Americas and Asia.

I have a BSc in Geography and an MSc in Demography, both from the London School of Economics. I’m also currently completing an Executive Masters in Corporate Communication from the Rotterdam School of Management.
