I joined Wetlands International in May 2022 as senior advocacy officer. My role includes advocacy on the post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework, engagement with the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands, and strategic advocacy and influencing. Previously, I worked in the UK Parliament for seven years, as senior adviser and speechwriter to a high-profile MP, where I led on climate, nature, and economic issues. Additionally, I have over a decade of policy, campaigns and advocacy experience across the environment and conservation sector, including as head of policy and public affairs at the Soil Association. I have an LLB undergraduate degree in English Law and an LLM Master’s degree in Law in Development from the University of Warwick.
