Senior Technical Officer Biodiversity and Disaster Risk Reduction

I develop and manage projects to conserve biodiversity and reduce disaster risk by restoring ecosystems. I currently support our offices in Ethiopia, Mali and Senegal.

From the gigantic Iguazu waterfalls to a waterhole where lions ambush a hartebeest, from mountain streams with giant salamanders to peat swamps filled with dazzling dragonflies, from floodplains covered  with waterbirds and grazing herds to mangroves with funny mudskippers, fiddler crabs and dolphins, wetlands are among the world’s greatest spectacles. I work for Wetlands International to ensure these places and species have a place in our future.
