Ulrike Sapiro is Global Senior Director of Water Stewardship and Sustainable Agriculture for The Coca-Cola Company, where she leads the global long-term strategic planning and engagement for the company’s water stewardship programs and sustainable agriculture ingredients sourcing. In her role, she builds closer integration of our programs across the business and brands and engages with industry, partners and stakeholders for collective action, e.g. 2030Water Resources Group, the CEO Water Mandate ad the Global Water Resilience Coalition.

Prior to her current role, Ulrike spent 10 years in evolving responsibilities as Sustainability Director at The Company’s Western Europe Business Unit and across the Europe, Middle East & Africa region, covering policies and strategies on energy efficiency and carbon reduction, circular economy and packaging, women empowerment and community development. During this time, Ulrike also developed major long-term partnerships with NGO’s, expert organizations and academia in relation to water stewardship, including several wetland and ecosystem programs across Europe.

Prior to joining The Coca-Cola Company, Ulrike spent seven years in various roles at RWE Thames Water in the UK, Europe and Africa, managing external engagement on water resource management, public-private infrastructure and development policy. Ulrike is German and holds a Master’s degree of Political Science from the University Munich and a post-graduate certificate on sustainability from Cambridge University.
