The United Nations Secretary-General’s Climate Action Summit will aim at boosting ambition and accelerating action to implement the Paris Agreement. The Climate Action Summit will focus on nine interdependent tracks, which will be led by 19 countries in total and supported by international organisations. Nature-Based Solutions is the 6th action track and the manifesto shows why the world leaders should divert their attention and investments to NBS and how they can do it.
Wetlands International is providing its successful experiences of working with nature through the NBS Coalition. We fully support Nature-Based Solutions for Climate Manifesto and to commit to unlocking the full potential of nature in climate action through joining the Group of Friends for NBS.
